Erling Haaland has refused to close the door on a move away from Manchester City but insists he remains happy at the club.
During his time in Manchester, Haaland has confirmed his status as one of the best strikers in the world. He currently tops the Premier League goal charts after a record-breaking first season saw him net 36 times in England's top flight and score 52 in all competitions.
Reports suggest Real Madrid are exploring ways to lure the Norway international over to the Santiago Bernabeu in the coming years, and it's repeatedly been claimed that Haaland wants to play for Madrid in the future.
When asked about a possible exit from City during a press conference on Tuesday, the 23-year-old stressed the fact he is loving life with his current club. But he added, in comments he admitted will create a "massive headline", that it's impossible to predict what the future will bring.
"I'm 23 and I won everything and I got a taste of it how it is to win and how I work is that when I feel this, I want to win it again," he said. "Easy as that.
"I'm really happy, especially with the people that I'm surrounded by. The manager, the directors, the board are a group of amazing people and I'm really happy.
"If I say this now, it is probably going to be a massive headline... tomorrow, you never know what the future brings but I'm happy and you can write this but you also have to write everything I said right before.
"My focus mainly now is on the pitch. There are a lot of games. Two days ago there was the Manchester derby, now it is the Champions League and then on Sunday on Liverpool. I think I should focus on that, I don't think I should focus on anything else at the moment."
Haaland's City contract runs until 2027 and is understood to include various release clauses, some of which will only become active closer to the expiration of his deal.
Haaland's agent, Rafaela Pimenta, has refused to disclose the details of the striker's contract but has always insisted he remains in control of his own destiny, hinting at the existence of a clause which could facilitate a move elsewhere.
