We're back into the swing of Euro 2024 qualifying after Thursday night and Friday will see more continental giants throw their weight around in search of points.

Scotland are edging ever closer to securing their place at a second consecutive European Championship and will look to take another step forward in their trip to Cyprus, while the controversy-gripped Spain will hope to avoid an upset away to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's Georgia. Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal are also in action.

Here are the Euro 2024 qualifiers scheduled to take place on Friday and how to watch them.

All times are BST.

Group A

Georgia vs Spain - 17:00

Nations League holders Spain have played two games fewer than current Group A leaders Scotland but there is chasmic gap between La Roja and Scotland, who sit first with four straight wins.

A defeat here to a Georgia side boasting Ballon d'Or nominee Khvicha Kvaratskhelia would really set alarm bells ringing in Spain - though, based the actions of Luis Rubiales and other officials in recent weeks, such a loss probably wouldn't be the catalyst for major change at the Royal Spanish Football Federation.

Cyprus vs Scotland - 19:45

While Spanish football is in crisis, Scotland are targeting qualification for a second Euros in a row thanks to a stunning start in Group A.

The Tartan Army can take another step towards Germany next year by beating Cyprus, who they disposed of 3-0 back in March thanks to John McGinn's strike and a late Scott McTominay double.

Any Cypriot hopes of featuring at a first ever international tournament have been quickly extinguished by three defeats in three games, sitting bottom of the group having shipped eight goals.

Group D

Croatia vs Latvia - 19:45

Croatia's run to the Nations League final means they have only played two games in comparison to Group D leaders Turkey. Luka Modric's side did, however, defeat the Turks in their last qualifier and remain the team to beat despite their current spot of third.

The bronze medal winners at the 2022 World Cup shouldn't be threatened by Latvia, who have lost their three Group D games each by a one-goal margin.

Turkey vs Armenia - 19:45

Three wins from four games has Turkey sitting pretty at the top of Group D, though they have played more matches than rivals Armenia and Croatia.

Prominent Crescent Stars figures like Hakan Calhanoglu, Baris Yilmaz and Cengiz Under will expect to feature, but Real Madrid teenager Arda Guler missed out on selection due to a knee problem.

Armenia suffered defeat in the reverse fixture but have since bounced back to beat Wales and Latvia.

Group J

Bosnia and Herzegovina vs Liechtenstein - 19:45

Long-time Bosnia and Herzegovina stalwarts Edin Dzeko and Miralem Pjanic are still the big hopes as their side target Euro 2024 qualification. They do have another chance to reach Germany through the play-offs thanks to their Nations League performance, which might be their best chance given Portugal and Slovakia are so far ahead in Group J.

Liechtenstein's hopes are even bleaker after four losses, with the odds heavily stacked in the home side's favour here.

Luxembourg vs Iceland - 19:45

Luxembourg are yet to face Group J leaders Portugal but have put a slow start behind them to beat Slovakia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in their last two games.

Iceland's run as tournament underdogs looks to have come to an end with their former national team heroes drifting into obscurity. The Nordic nation have netted eight times in four games but seven of those came in their only win of the group stage so far.

Slovakia vs Portugal - 19:45

It's another international cycle with Cristiano Ronaldo playing up front for Portugal as he targets one last piece of glory with Roberto Martinez's side.

The Al Nassr forward has five goals in qualifying and with quality players like Bernardo Silva, Bruno Fernandes, Ruben Dias and Rafael Leao around him, Ronaldo has the right teammates to accommodate his declining physicality in the modern game.

Slovakia are no push-overs, however, and players like Milan Skriniar, Stanislav Lobotka and veteran Marek Hamsik have played large roles in their unbeaten start to qualifying.
