Everton have unveiled their new away kit for the 2020/21 season, adopting a yellow look for their first full season under Carlo Ancelotti.

The kit is the first worn by the club under Hummel, who struck a club-record deal with the Toffees back in May that is due to run for three years.

The official launch also revealed a new shirt sponsor, with Cazoo taking its place on clean yellow look with a royal blue trim on both the collar and sleeves. The club badge is now in monochrome, with blue shorts completing the look. This season's kit is inspired by the amber-yellow away strips the club donned during the 1970s.

Club captain Seamus Coleman weighed in with his thoughts, praising the historic background of the kit: “As players we are all interested in what our kits are going to look like, and I am really impressed with this strip. It is very modern but is also a great tribute to the players from the late 60s and early 70s.

"As Everton players it’s always important to know and understand the history of our great club and this kit pays tribute to players that every Evertonian looks up to including Alan Ball, Colin Harvey and Howard Kendall. The retro EFC scroll design on the back of the neck is a nice touch and I am sure Evertonians will love this kit as much as the players.”

Along with the launch of the away shirt, Everton also revealed their new goalkeeper kit, which comes in a rather striking pink colour with lines running across the top that resemble a hospital heart rate monitor. In fairness, most Toffees fans feel like they're attached to one with Jordan Pickford in goal.

The response from supporters, at first glance, appears to be positive - with Hummel again appearing to hit the mark with their latest efforts. Both kits are available on the club's official online store.
