- Everton have fallen into the bottom three amid poor form
- Tottenham aiming to consolidate place in the Premier League top four
- Ange Postecoglou's side can move level on points with Arsenal
By Euan Burns
The first game of the Premier League weekend sees Tottenham Hotspur travel to Goodison Park where they take on Everton.
The Toffees slipped into the bottom three thanks to Luton's win at home to Brighton in midweek, and suddenly relegation fears are starting to set in for Sean Dyche's side again. They have failed to win their last five league games, and it will take a big performance to get three points on Saturday.
Tottenham are back where they want to be following a 3-2 win at home to Brentford in midweek, sitting in fourth. Things can change very quickly, but Ange Postecoglou will be confident that his team has enough to beat a goal-shy Everton side.
Here is all you need to know about Everton's Premier League meeting with Tottenham this weekend.

Everton vs Tottenham score prediction
At a slightly earlier stage of the season, this would have been billed as a significantly closer match. Everton's form has suffered in recent weeks, while Tottenham are reaping the rewards of getting key players back from injury.
Goals seem to come very easily to this Spurs team, and the same cannot be said for Everton. Conceding also comes easily to Tottenham, so they might let one slip through. Postecoglou's side can certainly outscore Everton - as they did in December - and the three points should be heading down to London.
