Who won the FA Cup in 2021/22?

Liverpool completed a domestic cup double when they beat Chelsea on penalties in May 2022 after a goalless final. They had previously defeated the Blues by the same method in the Carabao Cup final earlier that year.

With that defeat, Chelsea became the first FA Cup team to lose three consecutive finals.

Who has won the FA Cup the most?

Arsenal are the most successful side in FA Cup history, winning the competition a whopping 20 times. Their most recent successful campaign was in 2019/20, when they defeated Chelsea 2-1 in the final.

The Gunners won seven FA Cups under the leadership of Arsene Wenger before current boss Mikel Arteta earned his first piece of silverware in 2020.

How can I watch the FA Cup?

In the United Kingdom, BBC Sport and ITV Sport hold the broadcasting rights for the FA Cup. Additional matches including Welsh sides are featured on BBC Wales on S4C.

In the United States, games are shown by ESPN and nearby in Canada Sportsnet hold the cup rights.
