FA Cup 2022/23 top scorers
With its history and reputation, scoring in the FA Cup can be a career highlight, especially for those playing in the lower leagues of English football.
It may not hold the status it once did, but the magic of the cup is still very much alive, as can be often be seen by the celebrations when a player finds the back of the net in it.
Here's who have done so most often thus far in this season's tournament.

1. Paul Mullin (Wrexham)

Shots to goals conversion rate: 55%
As viewers of the documentary Welcome to Wrexham will know, Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney splashed the cash to bring Paul Mullin to the club last season, and he's proven to be worth every penny in the cup as well as in the league.
2. Armando Dobra (Chesterfield)

Assists: 0
Minutes per goal: 85
Shots to goals conversion rate: 100%
Mullin isn't the only non-league player making a name for himself with Chesterfield's Armando Dobra also doing so, scoring two goals in a 3-3 draw with West Brom. His team lost the replay meaning he won't add to his tally, but he can be proud of it nonetheless.
3. Sam Bell (Bristol City)

Shots to goals conversion rate: 60%
Sam Bell's double against West Brom helped Bristol City charge into the fifth round, having been eliminated at the entry stage last season.

He wasn't able to get a goal in Stevenage's shock win over Aston Villa, but Luke Norris scored three times in the two rounds prior to that match.

All three of William Osula's goals came against Torquay, getting two in a 2-2 draw and one when his team won the replay 5-0.

Colby Bishop scored one goal from open play in his three-match FA Cup campaign this season and successfully converted two penalties against MK Dons.

Adedeji Oshilaja hasn't had a great league campaign for Burton but enjoyed himself in their brief cup run, getting two goals and an assist against Chippenham Town.

One of the year's biggest upsets came courtesy of Josh Windass, who bagged a brace against Newcastle to knock the Premier League side out.

Before leaving Forest Green at the end of 2022, Connor Wickham got them to the third round with one goal against Alvechurch and two against South Shields.
