FA Cup fixtures today - your guide to Sunday's games
- Four FA Cup fourth-round ties will be contested on Sunday
- A Black Country derby kicks off proceedings with an early start
- Both Liverpool and Man Utd are also in action
Sunday promises another mouthwatering slate of FA Cup action as one of the most intriguing recent editions of the competition unfolds this season.
Sixth-tier Maidstone United will be in the hat when the draw for the fifth round of the cup is made halfway through Sunday's schedule. However, neither of England's two most successful clubs is guaranteed a spot alongside the Stones.
Manchester United and Liverpool will both be vying for a place in the last 16 when they come up against non-Premier League sides this weekend. Two Championship promotion chasers are also in action as well as the small matter of the first Black Country derby in two and a half years.
Here's everything you need to know about Sunday's games.
West Brom vs Wolves
- Location: West Bromwich, England
- Stadium: The Hawthorns
- Date: Sunday 28 January
- Kick-off Time: 11:45 GMT / 06:45 ET / 03:45 PT
- Referee: Thomas Bramall
- VAR: Not in use
Wolverhampton Wanderers have not played at the home of their fierce local rivals with fans present since October 2011. Almost 25,000 squeezed into the Hawthorns that afternoon to see Chris Brunt and Peter Odemwingie score in a comfortable victory for West Bromwich Albion.
Gary O'Neil's Premier League visitors are closer to the Champions League places than the relegation zone in 11th place, giving them the perfect grounding to commit to a cup run. The Baggies, meanwhile, are embroiled in a desperately tight race for a Championship play-off spot.
However, the last Wolves manager to earn a win at the Hawthorns was Mark McGhee in 1996, when O'Neil was just 16 years old.

Watford vs Southampton
- Location: Watford, England
- Stadium: Vicarage Road
- Date: Sunday 28 January
- Kick-off Time: 14:00 GMT / 09:00 ET / 06:00 PT
- Referee: Michael Salisbury
- VAR: Not in use
Southampton sit six points and 18 places above Watford in the Championship table but nothing could separate the pair when they met at Vicarage Road last December - although, Rhys Healey's equaliser didn't come until the sixth minute of stoppage time.
Watford also needed a 95th-minute winner to find a way of squeezing past non-League Chesterfield in the FA Cup third round three weeks ago. Southampton, by comparison, breezed past Walsall to extend an unbeaten sequence that currently stands at 21 matches.

Liverpool vs Norwich City
- Location: Liverpool, England
- Stadium: Anfield
- Date: Sunday 28 January
- Kick-off Time: 14:30 GMT / 09:30 ET / 06:30 PT
- Referee: Sam Barrott
- VAR: Tim Robinson
It's fitting that the first stop of Jurgen Klopp's goodbye tour begins with a visit from a familiar face. Norwich City manager David Wagner was famously Klopp's best man at his wedding and the former Mainz teammates have known each other for a quarter-century.
However, when the pair have come up against one another in opposite dugouts, Klopp has enjoyed an unfriendly advantage. Wagner's Huddersfield Town side faced Liverpool three times in the Premier League between 2017 and 2018, losing without scoring a goal on each occasion.
No wonder Klopp joked that Wagner had asked him to rotate heavily ahead of the meeting at Anfield. "I told him that doesn't help," the Liverpool boss warned.

Newport County vs Man Utd
Newport County's bout against Manchester United at Rodney Parade has been a tie years in the making for the League Two boss Graham Coughlan. As a long-serving Red Devils fan, Coughlan revealed: "In the FA Cup as a player, coach and manager, I was always willing: 'Go on, [draw] Man Utd'."
That wish was eventually granted when Newport got the better of non-League Eastleigh in their third-round replay to set up Sunday's dream tie. Whether Coughlan will be quite so grateful to have drawn a Premier League team by the end of the match remains to be seen.
