Final 2022/23 Premier League Playmaker of the Season standings
1. Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)
Appearances: 32
Assists: 16
Was this ever in doubt? The all-time Premier League great has picked up his third Playmaker of the Season crown - and first since 2019/20 - after registering an impressive 16 assists. The arrival of Erling Haaland rendered this crowning inevitable.
2. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

The Egyptian superstar was one of very few to register double-digit goals and assists in 2022/23. The 2021/22 Playmaker of the Season, however, never really came close to competing with De Bruyne for this season's crown.
3. Leandro Trossard (Brighton & Arsenal)
Appearances: 36
Assists: 12
While his form tailed off towards the end of the season, there was a point when Arsenal's acquisition of Brighton's Trossard looked to be a masterstroke. Eight of his assists came in red and white, including the three he registered at Fulham in March.
4. Michael Olise (Crystal Palace)
Appearances: 37
Assists: 11
Eberechi Eze has garnered plenty of plaudits for his stellar form since Roy Hodgson's arrival, but Olise has been similarly impressive and put together a productive campaign down Palace's right flank. The Frenchman dazzled in the 5-1 thumping of Leeds in April and notched three assists.
5. Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)
Appearances: 38
Assists: 11
Arsenal's starboy penned a contract extension at the club that keeps him on their books until 2027 off the back of his stellar 2022/23 season. Saka played a major part in the Gunners' title challenge, but his form fell off a cliff after the March international break.
6. Riyad Mahrez (Manchester City)
Appearances: 30
Assists: 10
While Pep Guardiola has often turned to Bernardo Silva in the big moments, Mahrez had enjoyed yet another fine season in sky blue. The Algerian registered his fourth double-digit assist haul of his Premier League career.
7. Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)
Appearances: 37
Assists: 9
The reinvention of Trent sparked a Liverpool resurgence at the end of the campaign, with the unicorn full-back registering assists in five straight games in April.
8. James Maddison (Leicester)
Appearances: 30
Assists: 9
A rare shining light for Leicester this season. Maddison didn't do enough to keep the Foxes up, however, and a new challenge awaits the England international this summer.
9. Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)
Appearances: 37
Assists: 8
It wasn't the most productive of seasons for Bruno but he still managed 16 direct goal involvements, contributing eight goals and assists respectively.
10. Ivan Perisic (Tottenham)
Appearances: 35

There's no doubt that the Croatian veteran has underwhelmed since joining Tottenham, but boy, can he take a set-piece. The vast majority of his eight league assists arrived from such situations.
11. Andy Robertson (Liverpool)
Appearances: 35
Assists: 8
The Scottish full-back didn't trouble the scorers in 2022/23, but he once again proved a distinct threat in the final third as he notched eight Premier League assists.
