After a hard day's work preparing for their crucial Champions League group game against RB Leipzig on Wednesday, the only thing the Paris Saint-Germain players will have been after on Tuesday was the chance to relax and mentally prepare for the match.

This didn't happen, however. Instead, ten players found themselves stuck between two floors in a lift late in the evening at the hotel they are staying at after returning from training.

Les Parisiens come into Wednesday's clash with Leipzig sat in second place in Group H, although they have picked up the same number of points (three) as their next opponents. As a result, it will be a chance for both sides to make a statement of intent at the halfway point in the group.

But a number of PSG's players didn't exactly enjoy the best preparation for the game on Tuesday evening as Le Parisien report that ten players were stuck in a lift late in the evening at the hotel where they are staying in Leipzig.

Despite the fact that PSG aren't keen for players to post matters like this on their social media, left-back Layvin Kurzawa decided to keep his social media followers up to date on the predicament his teammates found themselves in. He later deleted the videos.

The unlucky players who were stuck in the lift for around 50 minutes were: Presnel Kimpembe, Marquinhos, Angel Di Maria, Leandro Paredes, Bandiougou Fadiga, Idrissa Gueye, Moise Kean, Abdou Diallo, Colin Dagba and Kays Ruiz-Atil.

Seemingly loving life on the outside of the trapped lift, Kurzawa asked whether everything was alright. The defender's now-deleted video shows a player from within the lift responding by saying everything is 'not okay brother'. The 28-year-old proceeded to ask who was inside, with one player finding the time to make light of the situation, responding: "Neymar and [Kylian] Mbappe."

Of course, both stars will miss Wednesday's clash through injury and weren't with the squad, but even if they were, they likely wouldn't have been able to get out of that tight situation despite their skill anyway.
