There's the chance to scoop a huge return in FPL Double Gameweek 28.
While the headline names will hope to bring in points over the weekend, two teams in the bottom half of the Premier League table will play twice in the gameweek.
So who are the top captain picks? With a little help from Fantasy Football Hub's powerful AI Points Predictions tool, here are the best candidates for the armband in FPL Gameweek 28.
Dominic Solanke
- Fixture(s): Sheffield United (H), Luton Town (H); Predicted Points: 10.8
Dominic Solanke is justifiably the overwhelming captain favourite ahead of home matches against promoted Sheffield United and Luton Town.
The England international has one goal and two assists in the last four gameweeks, but he has also struggled with a knee complaint and the expected haul of 10.8 points is a little lower than would be hoped. For those managers still looking to use the Triple Captain chip, there will be better alternative opportunities later in the season, so hold onto it for now.
Neto
- Fixture(s): Sheffield United (H), Luton Town (H); Predicted Points: 8.2
Goalkeepers are often the surprise packages in double gameweeks, especially outside of the top sides in the Premier League table. With Bournemouth keeping six clean sheets this season, a tally only seven sides can improve on, shot-stopper Neto is worth a punt as he could produce significant fantasy points in his pair of fixtures.
Neto has also picked up bonus points for his performances in five of the six clean sheets, ranking second among goalies for bonuses this season with 12.
Erling Haaland
- Fixture(s): Liverpool (A); Predicted Points: 7.2
Despite the temptation of the double gameweek, it's viable to consider options who have just one fixture. When it comes to the single gameweek picks, Erling Haaland leads the way for predicted points despite a tricky fixture away to Liverpool.
Haaland has been consistent since returning from injury, with six attacking returns from his last six matches. The Norwegian takes penalties and scored in the reverse fixture earlier in the season, while Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson remains out injured which could boost Manchester City's chances.
