With one fixture postponed in FPL Gameweek 12, using the Free Hit chip has become the only way forward for fantasy managers who have injuries and suspensions mounting up and only a handful of players available this week.
We put the Fantasy Football Hub My Team tool with predicted FPL points to the test in order to create a Free Hit squad in budget this week. So, who are the players to select in this 3-4-3 formation?
FPL Gameweek 12: Best Free Hit Team
GK: Nick Pope - 4.1 predicted points - Newcastle United are second for clean sheets this season with four and Pope is the second highest scoring goalkeeper in the game this season.
DF: Kieran Trippier - 4.3 predicted points - Trippier is the most attacking defender in the game this season, dominating for both successful crosses and corners.
DF: Trent Alexander-Arnold - 5.1 predicted points - Back from injury, Alexander-Arnold is the most attacking of Liverpool’s defenders and second for successful crosses (21) this campaign.
DF: Lewis Dunk - 4.9 predicted points - The Brighton centre-back has had five shots on goal this season and is certainly due. Nottingham Forest have conceded 18 goals in six.
MF: Mohamed Salah - 7.3 predicted points - The captain favourite this midweek, Salah is back in form and has seven attacking returns in the Premier League so far this season.
MF: Mason Mount - 4.7 predicted points - The leading light in Graham Potter’s new-look Chelsea attack. Mount has two goals and two assists in three games since the international break.
MF: Wilfried Zaha - 4.7 predicted points - The Eagles talisman has four goals and one assist this season, plus he’s on spot kicks. He’s had six shots in the box over the last three gameweeks.
MF: Leandro Trossard - 5.9 predicted points - The stars seem to be aligning for Trossard this midweek; he has the form and the fixture going into the depleted schedule.
FW: Harry Kane - 6.1 predicted points - Mr Consistent may finally get an opportunity to shine in the absence of Haaland. Kane is top for xG (3.04) since the break.
FW: Callum Wilson - 5.4 predicted points - Newcastle United’s penalty taker is expected to prosper against an Everton side who’ve conceded five goals in their last three games.
FW: Dominic Solanke - 4.9 predicted points - Bournemouth’s main man has delivered one goal and three assists in his last three games and faces the only side without a clean sheet this season.
