FPL Gameweek 29 has become a popular time to activate the Bench Boost chip, with plenty of sides facing a Double Gameweek.
So as fantasy managers look to bolster the dead spots in their squads, who are the best differentials to bring on board?
Goalkeeper: Jason Steele (£3.9m)
Brighton’s new number one Jason Steele has become the perfect back-up goalkeeper for our FPL squads, at a great price. He’s kept two clean sheets in three games since Gameweek 26, racking up just under six points per game.
Brighton have a further two doubles in the schedule, providing plenty of utility going forward too.
Defender: Andrew Robertson (£6.8m)
Liverpool have been one of the standout defences in recent weeks, keeping four clean sheets in their last six games.
Full-back Andrew Robertson consistently produces double digits for goal involvements each season, with three big chances created yielding an assist over the last six gameweeks.
Midfielder: Alexis Mac Allister (£5.5m)
Brighton’s World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister is only the third most transferred in Seagulls midfielder this week, but he is being criminally overlooked, with two goals and an assist from his last three Premier League games.
He’s also on penalties for the Seagulls and has the superior underlying numbers over the last five gameweeks, with 15 shots and an xG of 3.2 from his three goals.
Forward: Alexander Isak (£6.7m)
Newcastle's Alexander Isak is the second most transferred in player for Double Gameweek 29 and justifiably so, with three goals in the last two gameweeks.
The Magpies are an important side to invest in, with another double still to come in the schedule too. Since gaining a regular spot in Newcastle’s attack, he’s registered 14 shots on goal, including two big chances.
