This week saw the Premier League launch FPL Challenge, a brand new fantasy mini-game where managers select a brand new squad of players every single week - effectively a Free Hit every gameweek.
The new game mode allows players to pick a different team every week for the chance to win prizes, with FPL throwing in special conditions like unlimited budget for Gameweek 30, forwards scoring double points in Gameweek 31 and Manchester United and Liverpool stars earning double in Gameweek 32.
Ahead of this brand new challenge, I've picked out the top punts for FPL Gameweek 30 with the help of Fantasy Football Hub's powerful AI Points Predictions tool.
Nicolas Jackson
- Fixture: Burnley (H); Predicted Points: 6.6
Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson has been one of the top performing FPL forwards in recent weeks with two goals and one assist in his last three games. Chelsea beat upcoming opponents Burnley 4-1 earlier this season, with Jackson on the scoresheet on that occasion.
Jackson is a risky buy in the main FPL game since he is one yellow card away from a two-game suspension. However, with the freedoms of the challenge game, he's worth the punt this week against a Clarets defence without a clean sheet this calendar year.
Richarlison
- Fixture: Luton Town (H); Predicted Points: 6.4
Richarlison returned to the matchday squad for Tottenham against Fulham last time out but is still waiting for his first start since returning from injury, with competition from teammate Son Heung-min for the central striker spot.
The Brazilian forward scored nine goals in ten starts in an impressive winter period and should be refreshed after a quiet international break.
In the challenge game, doubling or even tripling up on Spurs attackers for the visit of Luton Town, who have conceded 15 goals in their last six fixtures, could be a profitable route to points.
Ben Chilwell
- Fixture: Burnley (H); Predicted Points: 5.1
Chelsea lead the clean sheet potential heading into FPL Gameweek 30, with opponents Burnley scoring just 29 goals so far this campaign. Ben Chilwell is one of the Blues' key defensive assets, with four shots and four key passes in his last six matches.
When playing daily fantasy games like FPL Challenge, it can be powerful to stack your defence with a number of players from the same side. Hitting a clean sheet simultaneously can yield big points, so consider pairing Chilwell with Chelsea teammates Axel Disasi and Malo Gusto.
