With 50%-owned Marcus Rashford currently red flagged with a groin injury which will keep him out "for a few games” according to Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, who are the top replacements for our FPL squads?

He could be back for United’s Double Gameweek 34, though!

Mohamed Salah

Predicted Points: 7.8

For those with funds in the bank, Mo Salah could be a key pick, especially since not many managers will be able to squeeze in a third premium alongside Erling Haaland and Harry Kane.

He has a leading tally of 37 shots in the box since the restart and 11 goal involvements. Crucially, Liverpool have nine fixtures remaining and no blanks in the schedule, with just their Premier League progress to focus on.

Jack Grealish

Predicted Points: 5.6

Manchester City’s Jack Grealish is in the form of his life, with double digit hauls in his last two games and has an upcoming fixture against a Leicester City defence without a clean sheet since the restart.

He’s currently winning the transfers in race for Gameweek 31 but those buying him must be mindful of City’s blank for their FA Cup semi-final next weekend. It does mean that he will have a further double gameweek during the season run-in.

Gabriel Martinelli

Predicted Points: 4.3

Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli has blanked just once in eight fixtures, amassing seven goals and two assists. The return of Gabriel Jesus from injury has only improved his output.

The Gunners have no blanks in their schedule, making it easy to navigate Gameweek 32. Many managers will have streamlined their Arsenal assets in recent weeks, in favour of those with doubles, but the time to double up on them could be here once more despite challenging fixtures. They’ve scored more goals than any other side since Gameweek 24.

Kaoru Mitoma

Predicted Points: 3.5

Brighton’s Kaoru Mitoma has six attacking returns from his last six Premier League games and continues to outperform his underlying numbers, with many defining him as a stat-buster. He’s a point behind team-mate Solly March on fantasy points since the restart, with the leading tally of points per start among midfielders this season.

The Seagulls still have ten fixtures to be played, but they do have a blank in Gameweek 32.
