Well done out there if you selected a goalkeeper who returned points in Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 32; there were only three clean sheets kept the whole weekend.

It was a reduced schedule with Manchester City, Manchester United, Brighton and Chelsea not in action due to the weekend's FA Cup semi finals and two of the three shutouts came in the goalless draw between Crystal Palace and Everton.

If you were backing Hugo Lloris on Sunday, you've been well and truly shamed. But it's a new FPL gameweek which presents new challenges, so who should we be considering between the sticks in midweek?

Ederson (£5.4m)

Brazilian stopper Ederson isn't locked in for a clean sheet against title challengers Arsenal but he gives managers a consistent route into Manchester City's team for their last eight games.

Among those matches are clashes with bottom-half teams like West Ham, Leeds, Everton and Chelsea.

Nick Pope (£5.4m)

Nick Pope couldn't collect a clean sheet in Newcastle's 6-1 humiliation of Tottenham on Sunday but face two of the bottom three in coming weeks as Newcastle first visit Everton before hosting Southampton.

The former Burnley stopper is without a clean sheet in four games but should put an end to that run soon.

Those who used their Free Hit chip in the past gameweek and sized up Crystal Palace stopper Sam Jonhstone for their squads, very well played. The former West Brom stopper collected ten points in the goalless draw with Everton.

The Eagles have clashes with Wolves, West Ham, Spurs, Bournemouth, Fulham and Nottingham forest before the season ends, presenting plenty of clean sheet opportunities for three-time England international Johnstone.

When is the FPL Gameweek 33 deadline?

It's a tight turnaround FPL deadline wise, with Tuesday's games getting underway at 19:30. That gives players until 18:00 BST for any necessary tweaking.
