The final few weeks of the Premier League season offer FPL managers the chance to creep up their mini-leagues in the search for those magical green arrows.

Defenders mustn't be overlooked in these final gameweeks; England's top flight has been chaotic over past few weeks, with some scorelines putting centre backs and full backs to shame.

However, there are still some who are offering good value at the back. Here are our top picks for Gameweek 34,

John Stones (£5.5m)

No FPL player picks a Manchester City player without some sense of trepidation and fear of 'Pep roulette'. Unless it's Erling Haaland.

That said, John Stones is in incredible form acting as a shield in front of the back three and has shown his sharp shooting skills with strikes against Leicester and Arsenal in the last two gameweeks. He's one of the first names of the team sheet right now.

Lloyd Kelly (£4.3m)

Lloyd Kelly was a key performer for Bournemouth in their victory over south coast neighbours Southampton on Thursday night, picking up two bonus points alongside a clean sheet.

Bournemouth only have one game this week - at home against Leeds, a side they are now six points clear of. It could be an eight-goal thriller or a tight game where a single strike decides the points, but recent form points in the Cherries' direction.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (£4.3m)

Manchester United full back Aaron Wan-Bissaka offers a route into a top four defence at a snip of a price. The Red Devils have plenty of injuries, meaning the former Crystal Palace defender should feature against both Aston Villa and Brighton.

Both opponents could cause problems for United, but a reaction will be expected from Erik ten Hag's side after the draw at Tottenham as they look to wrap up Champions League qualification.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m)

Liverpool play a number of sides Trent Alexander-Arnold should get joy against before the season ends, starting with Tottenham at Anfield on Sunday.

Alexander-Arnold now has five assists in his last four games, having struggled for points all season as the Reds performed poorly. Now, though, they look well set to end the season in positive fashion.

When is the FPL Gameweek 34 deadline?
