A home game against a Brighton side without a clean sheet this season should give owners of Erling Haaland the confidence to trust him with the armband despite two successive blanks.
Some FPL players are considering overlooking Haaland, with a few even looking to sell, but with 36 Premier League goals last season he has the proven pedigree to succeed.
The Seagulls are enduring a challenging spell with only one point from their last two games and eight goals conceded in that time. Haaland has scored in consecutive home games, leading the way with 15 big chances on goal this season, and netted a brace in this fixture last season in a 3-1 win for Manchester City.
Mohamed Salah
- Fixture: Everton (H); Predicted Points: 7.4
Mohamed Salah has scored in every home game this season and we can expect that trend to continue in the Merseyside derby, with opponents Everton keeping just one clean sheet this campaign.
The Liverpool star should be high on confidence after his best return of the season and remains on penalties, with the Reds receiving three spot-kicks so far this season.
Salah leads the way for big chances created this season with nine and is in a purple patch with three goals and two assists in the last four gameweeks. He has a good record against Everton, finding the back of the net in a 2-0 win against the Toffees in this fixture last season.
Son Heung-min
- Fixture: Fulham (H); Predicted Points: 6.9
Spurs midfielder Son Heung-min represents an enticing opportunity in FPL given he is playing as a central striker and is the main penalty candidate. He's been particularly efficient since moving into the new role, chalking up the most FPL points of any player in the last five gameweeks with 46, scoring six goals.
Upcoming opponents Fulham have allowed 25 big chances on their goal so far this campaign, conceding 13 efforts, and will face a barrage from Spurs. Ange Postecoglou's side, who currently top the Premier League, have taken 153 shots at goal, the most of any side.
