Tottenham Hotspur missed the chance to move into fourth place in the Premier League following a 3-0 loss at Fulham.
The hosts nullified their visitors all over the pitch and were excellent value for the win, ending Spurs' run of seven straight league wins at Craven Cottage.
The loss also brought an end to Tottenham's run of scoring in every league game under Ange Postecoglou and a streak that went back 39 games in total.
Fulham maintained their late push for a European place and are now only five points off the top seven.
How the game unfolded
Fulham went close to going ahead inside two minutes as Tottenham turned the ball over in midfield. The initial shot from just inside the box from Rodrigo Muniz was blocked by Cristian Romero before Andreas Pereira's rebound deflected just past the post.
A low cross from Alex Iwobi was intercepted by the stretching arm of Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario and Pereira was again first to the loose ball, but Romero was once more on hand to provide the crucial block.
Another chance went begging for Fulham when a low cross from Antonee Robinson went through the legs of Muniz, while Tottenham countered to create their first opening of the evening, resulting in Son Heung-min firing narrowly over.
Another swift Spurs move saw James Maddison feed through Brennan Johnson down the left, but his first-time shot was easily held by Bernd Leno. Moments later, a similar chance fell full-debutant Radu Dragusin's way, but his cross-cum-shot trickled wide.
Tottenham were clicking through the gears and went closest to breaking the deadlock in the opening half hour when Destiny Udogie's cross was directed towards goal by Maddison, whose effort bounced wide and back off the post off of Leno's water bottle.
Just before the break, Fulham went ahead. Robinson burst away down the left and his glorious cross found Muniz, who had time to take a touch and set himself before finding the far corner.
On the other side of half-time, the hosts doubled their lead. A cross once again caught Tottenham napping, with Timothy Castagne's ball being turned in off the knee of Sasa Lukic.
Fulham grabbed their third from a corner after an hour. Calvin Bassey's initial effort slammed back off the post before Muniz scrambled the rebound over the line.
Moments later, the Whites thought they had a fourth. Joao Palhinha's wicked strike ricocheted past Vicario, but Raul Jimenez was in his line of sight and in an offside position.
Down the other end, Spurs should have pulled one back when Johnson met Son's driven cross, but his flick bounced wide. Replays suggested it may have been ruled out for offside.
Seconds after, Johnson turned provider for Timo Werner, who came up with a similar miss from a couple of yards out.
A knockdown from Dejan Kulusevski dropped to Richarlison but the Brazilian's half-volley flew wide while Harry Wilson brought one further save out of Vicario before time was up.
Fulham player ratings (4-2-3-1)
GK: Bernd Leno - 6/10 - Made some rather routine saves but was largely untroubled for much of the evening.
RB: Timothy Castagne - 7/10 - Got into a spot of gamesmanship with former Leicester City teammate Maddison. Provided the wonderful cross for Fulham's second goal.
CB: Tosin Adarabioyo - 7/10 - A rather quiet evening trying to tame Spurs' usually potent frontline. Easy to see why Tottenham were so keen to bring him in last summer.
CB: Calvin Bassey - 7/10 - Endured a nightmare in the reverse fixture but went some way to exorcising those demons with a fine performance here.
LB: Antonee Robinson - 9/10 - Outstanding at both ends of the pitch. Never let Kulusevski have his own way and put Tottenham in spots of bother with his crossing.
CM: Joao Palhinha - 7/10 - Brought about the muscle Fulham needed to waltz through the midfield battle. In some ways it was a little bit overkill.
CM: Sasa Lukic - 8/10 - Rewarded for his late runs into the box with the goal that saw Fulham take total control of the contest.
RM: Alex Iwobi - 7/10 - Weaved his way inside and out to open Spurs up in their own defensive third.
AM: Andreas Pereira - 7/10 - Forced a couple of blocks out of Tottenham early on but wasn't as involved as their other attackers. Nonetheless played well before succumbing to injury.
LM: Willian - 7/10 - Like Iwobi was afforded the freedom to do what he wanted, seamlessly flittering between the lines.
CF: Rodrigo Muniz - 9/10 - Sensational. Now scored seven goals in his last seven Premier League games. Gave Dragusin real problems before too picking up an injury. Fulham have now paid Chelsea £4m for not starting Armando Broja enough, but that's not a bad trade for finding a striker in this sort of form.

Marco Silva - 9/10 - Fulham were excellent across all areas of the pitch. In this kind of form, they're real European contenders.
Tottenham player ratings (4-2-3-1)
GK: Guglielmo Vicario - 5/10 - Couldn't do much about any of the goals and still made some decent saves to keep the scoreline down regardless.
RB: Pedro Porro - 4/10 - Didn't get tight enough to Robinson to stop his crosses. Failed to provide much of a spark going forwards either.
CB: Cristian Romero - 5/10 - Tottenham's best and most authoritative defender, though the bar wasn't particularly high.
CB: Radu Dragusin - 4/10 - Began brightly with the flexing of muscle against Muniz, but lost him too easily for the opener that got the ball rolling for Fulham. Never really got his head back in the game from that point.
LB: Destiny Udogie - 5/10 - Guilty of some clumsy fouls but wasn't atrocious in his own third at least. Brought thrust to Spurs' attacks in the brief period they were in the ascendancy.
CM: Pape Matar Sarr - 4/10 - Gave away the ball a fair bit more than usual, though wasn't helped by the wandering defensive midfielder next to him and the forwards just waiting for it to reach them.
CM: Yves Bissouma - 3/10 - Tottenham's lack of urgency was personified by Bissouma, who continually lost his runners and left Sarr stranded in central areas.
RM: Dejan Kulusevski - 4/10 - Way too often wanted the ball to feet and stood around waiting for it to arrive. Tried to kick and run past Robinson but had the ball routinely slammed in his face.
AM: James Maddison - 5/10 - Always tried to make things happen in his 66 minutes of the pitch. Picked up a knock following a heavy challenge from Palhinha.
LM: Brennan Johnson - 4/10 - Skipped by his full-back plenty at Aston Villa last week but had no such luck this time around.
CF: Son Heung-min - 4/10 - Tottenham may wonder how the game would have gone if Son had converted his early chance. Subdued from there on in.
