The 2022/23 Women's Champions League group stage draw will soon take place to determine who will face off in European football's most prestigious club competition.
Lyon head into the tournament as defending champions after overcoming Barcelona in last year's final.
This season's competition will again feature a group stage, after it was introduced for the first time last term.

Who has qualified for the 2022/23 Women's Champions League group stage?
There are 16 teams in the Women's Champions League group stage draw. These teams will be divided into four pots, and drawn into four groups of four - with one team per pot and country protection in place at this stage of the competition.
As winners of their respective leagues, Barcelona, Chelsea, Lyon and Wolfsburg have automatically qualified for the 2022/23 Champions League group stages. These four sides have been placed into pot 1 for the draw.
The other 12 teams have have to go through the various qualification rounds and will be placed into pots 2, 3 and 4 for the draw, which have been determined by club coefficient ranking.
Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Juventus, Rosengard, Zurich, Slavia Prague, St Polten, Vllaznia, Benfica, Bayern Munich and Roma are the clubs that have joined the automatic qualifiers.

When does the 2022/23 Women's Champions League group stage begin?
The first matchdays of the 2022/23 Women's Champions League will take place on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 October. Each team plays six matches, with the final match round taking place on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 December.
