Hugo Ekitike’s future will be decided in the coming months as he attempts to play his way into Luis Enrique’s plans at Paris Saint-Germain, 90min understands.

The 21-year-old is currently way down the pecking order at the Parc des Princes following the high-profile arrivals of Goncalo Ramos, Bradley Barcola and Randal Kolo Muani this summer.

PSG had hoped that Ekitike would move to Eintracht Frankfurt as part of the deal to sign Kolo Muani and he had shown initial interest in moving to Germany, but he eventually rejected the move.

Ekitike was not that willing to move on from PSG just 12 months after he arrived from Reims. He did, however, consider a transfer deadline day move to England with Crystal Palace but talks broke down.

Sources have now confirmed to 90min that Ekitike is not yet ready to give up on his PSG dream, but at the same time accepts that he needs to make an impact in the coming months.

If Ekitike is not more involved by December, he is ready to look at other options available and his camp are already fully aware of the clubs looking at him.

Palace are very much still in the mix to take him if and when Ekitike is made available.

They are not alone in their admiration of Ekitike. 90min understands that Brentford, Everton, West Ham United and Wolves are in contact with his representatives and are being kept informed of the situation.

A move to England looks the most likely outcome for Ekitike should he fail to win over Enrique, but there is the chance of a loan within France with Lyon, Lens and his former club Reims all keen.
