Inter Miami CF II's Romeo Beckham signs permanent deal with Brentford B

Romeo Beckham, son of famed England captain and Inter Miami CF president David Beckham, has signed with Brentford B after initially joining Premier League club Brentford F.C. on loan this January.
Beckham first began training with the squad back in October 2022 ahead of the FIFA World Cup break, as part of a loan spell through this summer before signed a permanent transfer.
"We added Romeo to our squad in January and he's been fantastic for the group," Brentford B coach Neil MacFarlane said. "We've continued to develop him in and out of possession and we look forward to him coming back in good spirits to continue working with him next season."
Beckham has appeared in 15 matches for the Bees this season, scoring one goal. Previously, he appeared in Inter's affiliate club, USL League One side Fort Lauderdale CF six times before the club converted to Inter Miami CF II to compete in the MLS Next Pro league. With Inter II he appeared 20 times and scored twice.
This past May, he was part of the Brentford B squad that beat the Blackburn Rovers under-21s 2–1 in the Under-21s Premier League Cup.
MacFarlane has previously praised the 20-year-old forward as a technical player and good finisher. It might only be a matter of time before he catches the eye of senior's side gaffer Thomas Frank.
