Inter Miami predicted lineup vs Chicago Fire: MLS
- Inter Miami square off against Chicago Fire
- Tomas Aviles misses the match after picking up a second yellow card vs Cincinnati
- Lionel Messi has returned to training but his status remains unknown
Inter Miami return to action this weekend to face off against Chicago Fire, looking to pick up three more points.
The Herons were victorious on their home turf last weekend against reigning Supporters' Shield champions FC Cincinnati 2-0. Luis Suarez bagged a brace in the opening 10 minutes of the match to seal all three points for Miami, who are in first place in the Supporters' Shield standings with 56 points.
However, Miami defense Tomas 'Toto' Aviles was shown a second yellow card and was sent off in the win, meaning he will serve a one-match suspension and miss the clash vs Chicago. Miami boss Gerardo 'Tata' Martino has switched to a 3-4-3 setup to provide more stability at the back with Sergio Busquets taking on the central center-back role.
Superstar Lionel Messi has returned to training from his brutal ankle injury suffered in the Copa America final, but his status for the match remains up in the air.
Assuming Martino sticks with the 3-4-3 formation on the road, here's how Miami could lineup vs the Fire.
