Jamie Carragher has shown off a special edition Marine shirt, ahead of the non-league club's FA Cup glamour tie with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Crosby-based Marine, who play in the eighth tier of English football, hit the headlines when they were drawn with Jose Mourinho's Tottenham in this year's FA Cup third round, having already knocked out Football League opposition Colchester United.
While pandemic restrictions mean that unfortunately no fans will be able to bear witness to 3,000-capacity Rossett Park hosting the likes of Harry Kane and Gareth Bale, a number of initiatives are helping the club to make up for lost income.
15,000 tickets sold. Our target was to sell 600. Incredible. Thank you @SpursOfficial & everyone who has bought a ticket. We will never forget it.

We will keep updating the numbers through the day and we believe the final attendance will be announced by BBC.
THANK YOU. #COYM
The club has already sold 15,000 virtual tickets for the match, which include entry to a raffle with the grand prize being the chance to manage the club in a pre-season friendly. Mourinho has already got his ticket, but sadly has ruled himself out of following through with collecting the reward if he wins.
“I am buying,” Mourinho told reporters, via the Guardian. “If I win, I cannot do it normally because we have our pre-season. I don’t think I will have conditions to do that. But the meaning of it makes me say yes to buying.”
In addition, a number of sponsorship deals have been signed with the idea of helping the club make up for the matchday revenue.
Carragher, a resident of Crosby where Marine play, will be one of the sponsors, with his foundation JC23 to be displayed on the dugouts and pre-match warm-up tops.
Carra has also been sent a special edition, one-off Marine AFC shirt, featuring red and blue sleeves to bring together Merseyside ahead of the match.
The Liverpool legend and boyhood Everton supporter was chosen by the club as the ideal man to unite the city for one day only with the kit which is sponsored by milk company Cravendale.
Love it @MarineAFC @ArlaCravendale! One day only ?. Best of luck today, bring home the win for the city ??⚫? #ad #milkingit https://t.co/DPGiJINoQW pic.twitter.com/hIFePiHRBp

The cheeky tagline 'yes, we're milking it' also features on the front of the kit.
