Jonas Eidevall reveals further Arsenal hopes for January transfer window

Jonas Eidevall has admitted he hopes that Arsenal's January transfer dealings are not yet complete, explaining he would like to sign a prolific goalscorer before the end of the window.
The Gunners have brought in three new faces so far this January: Dutch midfielder Victoria Pelova from Ajax, Danish midfielder Kathrine Kuhl from Nordsjaelland, and Canadian goalkeeper Sabrina D'Angelo from Vittsjo GIK.
Jordan Nobbs is the club's only departure thus far, calling time on her 13 years at the club to join Aston Villa.
Arsenal were hit by a pair of long-term injuries in forward areas prior to the winter break, with Beth Mead rupturing her ACL in November, and Vivianne Miedema suffering an identical injury the following month.
The Gunners have recalled forward Gio Queiroz from Everton, cutting what was intended to be a full season loan short, but Eidevall has admitted he is hoping to add one more goalscorer this month.
"I would be disappointed if we can't bring in a prolific goal scorer in addition to the signings we have made," the Arsenal boss said. "That should be a really important priority for us in this window with the numbers of games and the level of the games that we have."
The newly recalled Gio and Stina Blackstenius are currently Arsenal's only recognised senior strikers. Blackstenius has seven goals in 18 appearances in all competitions this term, while 19-year-old Gio scored once during her time at Everton, but saw her loan spell disrupted by injury.
Caitlin Foord traditionally operates on the left wing for Arsenal, but can also be deployed through the middle.
