Jurgen Klopp gives Darwin Nunez assurance after match-winning brace
- Darwin Nunez is yet to start a Liverpool game this season
- Striker scored twice off the bench to beat Newcastle
- Jurgen Klopp reacts to the performance from £85m player
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has promised there is "no doubt" that Darwin Nunez will have more opportunities to play after scoring twice off the bench in comeback win over Newcastle.
Down to ten players after Virgil van Dijk's red cards, Liverpool were trailing until the 81st minute at St James' Park and looked resigned to a first defeat of the Premier League season.
But Nunez took the game by the scruff of the neck with two similar finishes low across the goal into the bottom corner showcasing a level of clinical not often seen in his Liverpool career to date.
The Uruguayan is yet to start a game this season, appearing as a substitute in both previous matches against Chelsea and Bournemouth so far in the new campaign.
"I understand the question, it's clear he's not happy," Klopp admitted to Sky Sports.

"It's early in the season, we need to find stability and results. He will play, there's no doubt about that. We need everyone. We need to find a way of playing. This is a new team with new key players. It needs time.
"He scores two goals and can't get the smile off his face. For the team, it was super important. You need these things together. You cannot force it. I enjoyed that in the last second."
Liverpool are next in action at home to Aston Villa on Sunday 3 September, prior to the first international break of the season. The Reds then return afterwards with clashes against Wolves, West Ham and Tottenham in what will remain of the month.
