Bayern Munich are aiming for a second straight win in the Champions League group stage when they travel to Denmark to face Kobenhavn on Tuesday evening.

The German champions got off to a winning start when they hosted Manchester United in their first match, taking all three points in a bizarre 4-3 victory against Erik ten Hag's side. Bayern may sit atop Group A, but they are currently third in the Bundesliga after their 2-2 draw with RB Leipzig at the weekend, trailing the impressive Bayer Leverkusen and VfB Stuttgart.

They will be strong favourites for their trip to the Danish capital, however, despite Kobenhavn's impressive recent form. A 2-0 defeat to Midtjylland brought a six-game unbeaten run to the end at the weekend, including a 2-2 draw with Galatasaray in their first Champions League group game.

Kobenhavn team news

Jacob Neestrup will be without Elias Jelert for the visit of Bayern following his red card against Galatasaray, with the full-back not able to return until Kobenhavn's trip to Manchester United.

Kobenhavn have several defensive injuries with Kevin Diks and Davit Khocholava out for Tuesday's match, although the latter is close to a return having been missing since May. Former Cardiff City forward Andreas Cornelius, now in his third separate spell with Kobenhavn, is also missing once again after a groin injury had already kept him out of the opening weeks of the campaign.

Thomas Tuchel does have a few injury concerns ahead of the trip to Kobenhavn, although it appears his side have no fresh problems following their 2-2 draw with RB Leipzig on Saturday.

Manuel Neuer remains out with a broken leg with Sven Ulreich likely to keep his place in between the sticks, while Matthijs de Ligt will also miss the trip to Denmark with an injury he sustained during Bayern's 7-0 thrashing of Bochum.

Young centre-back Tarek Buchmann remains sidelined and is likely to return after the international break, while Serge Gnabry will be absent after fracturing his forearm against Preußen Munster in the DFB Pokal last week.

Kobenhavn vs Bayern Munich score prediction

If Kobenhavn were able to get a result against Bayern on Tuesday evening, it would surely go down as one of the club's greatest results of the modern era. The German side will be overwhelming favourites for a comfortable victory, but should still field a strong lineup to get the job done in Denmark.

Bayern's attacking quality should prove too much for Kobenhavn, with Harry Kane and Leroy Sane in particularly devastating form. The returning influence of Jamal Musiala, who was sensational against Manchester United on matchday one, will cause the home side even more problems.

All in all, it should be a fairly straightforward evening for the Bundesliga giants.

Prediction: Kobenhavn 0-3 Bayern Munich
