LAFC fixtures: Next six games after Trafico victory over LA Galaxy
By Alex Windley
LAFC is one of the best teams in MLS - and they have no signs of slowing down.
Two strikes from Carlos Vela and Ryan Hollingshead's 70th-minute goal gave Steven Cherundolo's side a 3-2 victory over LA Galaxy, who replied through Tyler Boyd and Mark Delgado.
LAFC are playing scintillating soccer and they’ll look to continue their good form in their next six games. From Denis Bougana leading the front line to the solid defensive line with Aaron Long and Giorgio Chiellini, the Black and Gold are flying high.
Here is what lies in store for LAFC in the coming weeks.
1. LAFC vs. Nashville SC - MLS (4/22/23 - 8:30 PM EST)
LAFC will travel to Geodis Park in Nashville, Tennessee, to take on Nashville SC.
The last time these two teams met, the men in gold grind out a 1-0 win that saw Teal Bunbury score the winner in the 53rd minute.
Currently sitting fifth in the Eastern Conference, Nashville has enjoyed a decent start to the season with three wins through seven games.
LA will want not to repeat that result as they travel back to Nashville in search of their fifth win of the season.
2. LAFC vs. Philadelphia Union - CONCACAF Champions League (4/26/23 - 4:00 PM EST)
It’s a 2022 MLS Cup re-match as LAFC faces off against the Philadelphia Union in CONCACAF Champions League semi-final at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania.
In what will be an exciting game between two of the best clubs in MLS, the winner of this match will hold the upper hand in the second leg, which will be played just a week later.
LAFC will head into the game in good form, whereas the Union has not had the best start to league play.
With just two wins in seven games, Philadelphia will give it their all to salvage their first half of the season with a win vs. LAFC.

3. LAFC vs. Houston Dynamo - MLS (4/29/23 - 10:30 PM EST)
LAFC will look to get their sixth win of all time over Houston Dynamo as they face off at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
Though the Dynamo started their MLS campaign well with three wins in seven games, they’re still far off the top spots in the Western Conference.
LAFC will want to capitalize on their brilliant home form with, potentially, three points against a Western Conference rival.
4. LAFC vs. Philadelphia Union - CONCACAF Champions League (5/3/23 - 4:00 PM EST)
The Union and LAFC will face off for one last time as they decide who will head to the CONCACAF Champions League final.
This match will be a continuation of the first leg held on May 26th and both teams will want to advance.
5. San Jose Earthquakes vs. LAFC - MLS (5/6/23 - 7:30 PM EST)
Next, LAFC will travel to Paypal Park in San Jose, California, to face off against the San Jose Earthquakes.
The last time they faced off, the Earthquakes nicked a 2-0 win over the Black and Gold, with Benjamin Kikanovic and Cade Cowell scoring the goals.
The Earthquakes started the 2023 season well, gaining eleven points through seven matches.
LAFC will have to be much more prepared as they take on their Western Conference rival, and expect this game to be an intense match-up.
6. Real Salt Lake vs. LAFC - MLS (5/13/23 - 9:30 PM EST)
Finally, LAFC will wrap up their next six games with a trip to America First Field in Sandy, Utah, to take on Real Salt Lake.
RSL has had an okay start to the year, with just one win in their last five matches. Their defense hasn’t looked good either, with eight goals conceded in their last two games.
LAFC will thrive off this and look to get their fifth straight win over as struggling Salt Lake team.
