A place in the Leagues Cup final is up for grabs when LAFC take on Colorado Rapids Wednesday night at BMO Stadium.
LAFC booked their place in the semi-finals after a resounding 3-0 triumph over Western Conference rivals Seattle Sounders at Lumen Field. The Black and Gold put on a counter-attacking clinic as Ryan Hollingshead, Kei Kamara and reigning Golden Boot champion Denis Bouanga were on the scoresheet to propel the team to victory.
On the other side of the matchup, Colorado pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the competition with a penalty shootout victory over Liga MX giants Club America. Neither side were able to score in regulation as Zack Steffen would go on to score the winning penalty during the shootout while Luis Malagon was unable to convert his attempt, securing the win for the Rapids.

LAFC vs Colorado Rapids score prediction
While LAFC have been in exceptional form since reaching the Leagues Cup knockout stage, it might not as straightforward as Cherundolo might hope given the teams that the Rapids have won against to reach the semi-finals.
Colorado will ask questions of the LAFC defense with Djordje Mihailovic and Rafael Navarro leading the attack, but they'll come up just short in reaching the final under new head coach Chris Armas. Olivier Giroud will score his first goal as an LAFC player while Bouanga will also get in on the action to send the Black and Gold to the final.
Prediction: LAFC 2-1 Colorado Rapids
