Leeds can bounce back from a 4-2 defeat to Arsenal when they face Wolves in the Premier League on Friday night.

Marcelo Bielsa's side have endured a wildly inconsistent return to the English top flight, but for all the criticism about their lack of pragmatism at times, they sit comfortably in the mid-table and can jump back into the top half with a victory.

Wolves, meanwhile, are enduring a difficult season by the standards they have set for themselves since returning to the Premier League.

Victory for the home side would help them out of being further rooted into a competitive mid-table pack, but for Leeds, the incentive is the chance to hop above Arsenal and push on for an impressive finish in their return season.

Here's how the Whites could line up.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Illan Meslier (GK) - Had a tough night at the Emirates, but will be eager to bounce back and silence the doubters.

Jamie Shackleton (RB) - With Leeds down on defensive numbers, Shackleton keeps his place in the XI.

Luke Ayling (CB) - Ayling continues at centre back with Shackleton covering for him at full back.

Liam Cooper (CB) - The 29-year-old has a tough job of marshalling a defence which has been shot to bits by injury.

Ezgjan Alioski (LB) - Alioski struggled in the game against Arsenal and conceding four goals should prompt a change at the back, but he keeps his place also with Leeds sweating over the availability of key players.

2. Midfielders

Pascal Struijk (DM) - Ideally, Struijk would drop back into defence, but with Kalvin Phillips still doubtful, he will likely continue in the holding role.

Raphinha (RM) - The Brazilian has been immense as of late and has five goal contributions in his last five Premier League games.

Stuart Dallas (CM) - Leeds' utility man can be relied upon by Bielsa to put in a decent shift wherever he is deployed. And with Rodrigo out injured, this week he takes on a central role.

Tyler Roberts (CM) - Roberts made an impactful appearance from the bench against Arsenal. Should Mateusz Klich be out injured again, the 22-year-old deserves a start.

Jack Harrison (LM) - Harrison starts on the left flank to provide Leeds with two exciting and creative players in wide areas.

3. Forward

Patrick Bamford (ST) - Bamford is enjoying a fine season in front of goal and has already managed 12 goals and six assists in the Premier League. With service from Raphinha and Harrison, his job is a straightforward one.
