Leeds United predicted lineup vs Brighton - Premier League

Leeds United travel south to face Brighton at the Amex on Saturday evening, aiming to pick up a much-needed victory.

Marcelo Bielsa's men currently sit just one place above the dreaded drop zone, having won just twice all season. Their form had looked to be improving in the weeks leading up to the international break, although they've only found victory once in their last five Premier League outings - coming away at lowly Norwich - and most recently gave up a 1-0 half-time lead to lose at Tottenham, leaving them just two points clear of Burnley in 18th.

Their opponents on Saturday come into the clash in even worse form, however. Graham Potter's side are without a win in their last seven league fixtures, having won four of their opening five to start the campaign in promising form. Here's who Bielsa could opt for the Whites' trip to the south coast.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Illan Meslier (GK) - Hasn't been up to scratch recently, but he's very much the established number one at the club.

Stuart Dallas (RB) - With a likely bolstered squad in more advanced areas, Dallas may be asked to drop back into defence having played right-midfield last time out.

Diego Llorente (CB) - Will shift centrally to play in a more comfortable role at the heart of the back line against Brighton.

Liam Cooper (CB) - Had a decent outing at Spurs, and will certainly continue to skipper the side from central defence.

Junior Firpo (LB) - Pascal Struijk appeared to be struggling at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which could see Firpo make a return to the starting XI.

2. Midfielders

Raphinha (RM) - Boy, do Leeds miss him when he's absent. Resumed training this week and should be fit enough to return, looking for a sixth Premier League goal of the campaign.

Kalvin Phillips (CM) - Looked excellent at centre-back last time out but a reshuffle should see him deployed in his more natural midfield position.

Adam Forshaw (CM) - This has got to be one of the best returns from a long-term injury ever, right? Has looked fantastic since making his first league appearance in nearly two-and-a-half years last month.

Jack Harrison (LM) - Looked good at Spurs last time out, finally bagging his first assist of the season. Deserves his spot at Brighton.

3. Forwards

Rodrigo (ST) - Pictured back in training after missing the Spurs clash and, after putting in some top performances in recent weeks, will surely come straight back into the side.

Daniel James (ST) - It's been a tough start to his Whites career, although he's seemed to pick up some form of late, managing his first goal for the club last time out.
