Relegation-scrapping Leeds United host an in-form Brighton side in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Leeds made it three consecutive defeats with a 3-0 loss at home to Chelsea on Wednesday night which was aided by Dan James' first-half dismissal, the club's second straight red card in as many outings.

Brighton, conversely, have won their last two matches by an aggregate scoreline of 7-0. Sitting ninth going into the weekend's fixtures, a lofty nine places above their upcoming hosts, Brighton's focus is on a top-half finish and breaking club record points tallies.

Here's everything you need to know about the meeting between two sides enduring and enjoying dramatically contrasting conclusions to the season.

Leeds team news

Both Luke Ayling and Dan James left Leeds' Premier League future in the hands of their teammates as they serve their red card suspensions.

Stuart Dallas fractured his femur during the April defeat to Manchester City, joining Adam Forshaw (knee), Tyler Roberts (thigh) and Crysencio Summerville (ankle) on the treatment table for the rest of the season - and some time beyond in the case of Dallas.

Jack Harrison was forced off in the first half against Chelsea with a knock but Raphinha is expected to be available after his removal later in the same game was brushed aside as cramp. Last season's injury-plagued top scorer Patrick Bamford has an outside chance of playing some role in the final two games.

Brighton team news

Graham Potter described the loss of Jakub Moder to an anterior cruciate ligament injury as "a devastating blow" when the versatile midfielder was ruled out for "a significant period of time" in April.

Enock Mwepu's recovery from a groin problem isn't set to be anywhere near as arduous but the summer arrival known as 'The Computer' may not feature for the closing games of the season. Jeremy Sarmiento is also a doubt with a hamstring issue Potter tried to downplay as "nothing serious".

Leeds vs Brighton score prediction

The warm glow of the five-game unbeaten streak Jesse Marsch oversaw between March and April has well and truly frosted over. With one goal from their last four matches (nine conceded) 18th-placed Leeds are limping towards the Championship.

Brighton can scarcely be brandished as predictable after a season in which they've taken the same number of points off reigning world champions Chelsea as they have Norwich City.

However, the Seagulls have been impressive on their travels throughout, collecting 28 points away from home - a tally only the division's top three can better which they may well add to this weekend.

Prediction: Leeds 0-2 Brighton
