Leicester predicted lineup vs Tottenham - Premier League
Leicester host Tottenham in the Premier League on Wednesday night as they look to improve their current position in the division.
The Foxes are tenth in England's top flight and their squad has been hit hard by injuries and illness in recent weeks, while a number of their players have departed for the Africa Cup of Nations.
Here's how they could look on Wednesday.
Leicester predicted lineup vs Tottenham
1. Goalkeeper & defenders
Kasper Schmeichel (GK) - While Leicester have had issues with injuries and illness elsewhere in their squad, Schmeichel has played every game in the league so far this season.
Marc Albrighton (RB) - Ricardo Pereira is out for a while and there are fitness doubts over Timothy Castagne, so Albrighton will likely be needed to fill in at right back again.
Caglar Soyuncu (CB) - Performance levels have dropped off from the Turkey international in the last year or so, though he has still played 16 league games this season.
Jannik Vestergaard (CB) - A summer signing from Southampton, Vestergaard is beginning to become a more prominent member of Leicester's starting XI, though the Foxes are yet to record a clean sheet when the Dane has started a game.
Luke Thomas (LB) - Thomas broke through into the first team squad last season and has put in some excellent performances, particularly in the 1-0 win over Liverpool.
2. Midfielders
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (CM) - The 23-year-old has been used more than expected due to squad availability issues, with Wilfred Ndidi, Daniel Amartey and Nampalys Mendy all at AFCON, while Boubakary Soumare is a doubt.
Youri Tielemans (CM) - One of the Foxes' more creative outlets, Tielemans scored in the 4-1 FA Cup victory over Watford last time out and also netted a double against Newcastle back in December.
James Maddison (CM) - The England international has been in excellent form recently, recording four goals and two assists in his last five games. They'll need him on top form on Wednesday.
3. Forwards
Ademola Lookman (RW) - Has pulled out some excellent performances recently two goals and two assists in his last three games.
Patson Daka (ST) - Daka has quite got going in the Premier League this season, though his goals in the Europa League have made him Leicester's leading goalscorer in Europe. Needs to perform in Jamie Vardy's absence.
Harvey Barnes (LW) - Another player among in the goals in the FA Cup win against Watford, Barnes has had problems with injuries this season but should be fit to start.
