Lionel Messi: 'Mbappe is a beast & I love being back with Neymar'
By Tom Gott
Lionel Messi has moved to ease tensions in the Paris Saint-Germain front three by heaping praise on fellow superstars Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
The relationship between Mbappe and Neymar is frosty, to say the least, with the former recently admitting the pair are 'hot and cold' following a start to the season which saw them clash over penalty taking duties.
Judging by results, you wouldn't guess anything was going on. PSG are unbeaten in Ligue 1 and the attacking trio have combined for 19 goals and 14 assists in just eight league games so far this year.
Speaking to TUDN, Messi admitted he couldn't be happier working with the two talented forwards.
On Mbappe, he began: “Kylian is a different player, a beast who is very strong in one-on-one, who goes into space, who is very fast, who scores a lot of goals.
"He is a complete player and he has proved it for years, and in the years to come, he will certainly be among the best.”

Messi also jumped at the chance to express his delight at playing alongside former Barcelona teammate Neymar. The pair became close friends at Camp Nou and are now tearing up defences together once more.
“With Neymar we know each other by heart, we enjoyed a lot of time together in Barcelona," Messi said. "I would have liked to have been able to enjoy that for longer at Barcelona, but life found us again in Paris, we are happy to be together, I love playing with him, being with him on a day-to-day basis."
