Just a few months back, Messi was in top form for the Herons early on in the 2024 MLS season. Messi logged a brace vs Nashville SC at home at Chase Stadium while also setting up Sergio Busquets for a late strike to take home Player of the Match honors.
4. New England Revolution - Major League Soccer (April 26, 2024)
One week after Miami's triumph over Nashville, Messi led the way once again with another brace and an assist on the road vs New England Revolution. Messi made it look so easy against one of the worst sides in MLS this season, keeping the winning streak rolling for Miami.
