Liverpool predicted lineup vs Crystal Palace - Premier League
- Liverpool have another Saturday lunchtime kick-off to enjoy this weekend
- Reds take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park
- Alexis Mac Allister is a fresh injury concern
The Premier League have treated Jurgen Klopp to another Saturday lunchtime kick-off this weekend.
Liverpool are on the road for the second-straight game, too, as they'll be visiting Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The Eagles are winless in four and have struggled in the absence of several key starters. However, they certainly boast the manager and structure to frustrate Saturday's visitors. Klopp, meanwhile, will be hoping for another "mature" performance similar to the one that got his side over the line against Sheffield United in midweek.
Here's how Liverpool could line up for their trip to Palace on Saturday.
Predicted Liverpool lineup vs Crystal Palace (4-3-3)
GK: Caoimhín Kelleher - Alisson is closing in a return, but the Brazilian could miss Saturday's game and make his comeback the following week.
RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold - One of the Premier League's form players continued his productive run in midweek as he teed up Virgil van Dijk's opener in midweek.
CB: Ibrahima Konate - Liverpool are relying on the fragile Konate for the remainder of the season after losing Joel Matip to a ruptured ACL.
CB: Virgil van Dijk - There's a revolving door next to the Dutchman, but Van Dijk remains a constant at the heart of Liverpool's defence.
LB: Kostas Tsimikas - The left-back got a breather in the week, but he'll almost certainly return to the starting lineup this Saturday.
CM: Wataru Endo - While Alexis Mac Allister has avoided a major knee injury, the Argentine, who sustained a nasty cut on Wednesday, is set to miss out which should see Endo earn back-to-back starts.
CM: Dominik Szoboszlai - The Hungarian added to his goal tally to seal Liverpool's win over the Blades. His running power will play a key role in dealing with Palace's threat in transition.
CM: Ryan Gravenberch - A regular off the bench in recent league outings, Klopp should utilise the midfielder from the outset at Selhurst Park. Gravenberch boasts the guile to penetrate what could be a stubborn Palace block.
RW: Mohamed Salah - Liverpool's perennial top scorer endured a rare quiet night in the week and he was withdrawn after 67 minutes. That doesn't bode well for the Eagles.
ST: Darwin Nunez - The forward produced a typically action-packed cameo at Bramall Lane, teeing up Szoboszlai for the game-sealer. He should get rotated back into the XI this weekend.
LW: Luis Diaz - With Diogo Jota still absent, Diaz is Liverpool's best option to start down the left flank.
