Liverpool predicted lineup vs Union Saint-Gilloise - Europa League
- Liverpool wrap up their Europa League group stage away at Union Saint-Gilloise
- Reds have already qualified for the round of 16 having topped Group E
- Jurgen Klopp won't risk any core starters with Man Utd around the corner
Liverpool's Europa League group stage campaign draws to a close on Thursday evening as they visit Union Saint-Gilloise.
The Belgian side still harbour hopes of joining the Reds in the knockout stages, but their chances are slim heading into matchday six.
Jurgen Klopp has used the depth of his squad in this competition so far, and that certainly won't change in Brussels given that Liverpool have already won Group E. The Reds are also welcoming Manchester United to Anfield on Sunday.
Here's the starting lineup Klopp could pick for Thursday's Europa League game.
Liverpool predicted lineup vs Union Saint-Gilloise (4-3-3)
GK: Caoimhín Kelleher - Alisson's presence was crucial to Liverpool's victory at Selhurst Park as the Brazilian returned from an injury absence. Irish international Kelleher will continue in the Europa League XI.
RB: Conor Bradley - The young full-back has featured in the Europa League off the bench this term, and he's poised to make this first start in the competition in Brussels.
CB: Joe Gomez - Klopp is short-changed at centre-back, and Ibrahima Konate will surely partner Virgil van Dijk on Sunday. Neither of those will be risked.
CB: Jarell Quansah - The impressive young defender has the makings of a future Liverpool stalwart, and he'll continue to get the chance to shine in Europe on Thursday.
LB: Kostas Tsimikas - There's a dearth of alternatives to the Greek international at left-back.
DM: Wataru Endo - Alexis Mac Allister is on the comeback trail after a brief absence, but he will be preserved for Man Utd's visit this weekend.
CM: Curtis Jones - Klopp's midfield rotation should see Jones get the nod in the midfield three.
CM: Harvey Elliott - Elliott is pushing for a Premier League starting berth after scoring a crucial late winner at Palace on Saturday. He's a contender to start on Sunday, but he's also expected to make the team in midweek. He's featured heavily in this competition.
RW: Ben Doak - The young Scot hasn't quite dazzled as some might've expected following a promising pre-season. Mohamed Salah has also been used more than many projected.
ST: Cody Gakpo - The Dutchman has struggled for rhythm since returning from a knee injury, and he'll likely need a stellar performance on Thursday to be considered for Sunday's starting lineup.
LW: Darwin Nunez - Luis Diaz has strung together consecutive starts so he'll likely be rested for the weekend. Klopp hasn't got too many options here, so the minutes could be shared between Diaz and Nunez down the left.
