Liverpool predicted lineup vs Wolves - Premier League
By Max Parsons
Liverpool face a tough test away at Wolves on Saturday afternoon, aiming for a fourth consecutive Premier League victory.
Jurgen Klopp's men have been on fire since losing 3-2 at West Ham last month, winning four on the bounce across all competitions. A 2-0 win over Porto in the Champions League has been sandwiched by three big domestic wins, in which the Reds have put four past Arsenal, Southampton and Everton.
Their free-flowing attacking football may come under question at Molineux, however. Bruno Lage's Wolves have now gone three games without conceding a goal although need to start finding the back of the net again, having failed to score in two.
Here's who Klopp could field in this one.
Liverpool predicted lineup vs Wolves - Premier League
1. Goalkeeper & Defenders
Alisson (GK) - Enjoying a really good campaign so far, having already kept seven clean sheets in the Premier League.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB) - Ten assists and a goal in his last ten appearances for club and country - try leaving him out.
Ibrahima Konate (CB) - Joel Matip started against Everton but Konate could be reinstated here, having played so well against Southampton and Porto in recent weeks.
Virgil van Dijk (CB) - Great to see him fully fit and typically colossal at the heart of the Liverpool backline. Set for 15th Premier League start of the campaign.
Andrew Robertson (LB) - Has been in great form of late, registering three assists in his last two outings.
2. Midfielders
Jordan Henderson (CM) - Having quite the season. After another excellent showing against Everton last time out, Henderson should be set to skipper the Reds once more here.
Fabinho (CM) - A crucial component to this Liverpool side, the Brazilian will be hoping for a fifth consecutive league start in this one.
Thiago Alcantara (CM) - Looks properly at home in a Liverpool shirt now and has been a joy to watch over the past few weeks.
3. Forwards
Mohamed Salah (RW) - His brace at Everton made it 19 goals and seven assists in 19 appearances for the season - utterly insatiable.
Diogo Jota (ST) - Got the winner in this fixture back in March and, having notched four in his previous three games, will be hoping for something similar against his former employers.
Sadio Mane (LW) - Completing Klopp's fearsome attacking trident is Mane, who is in search of a first goal involvement in four matches.
