Liverpool value winger Luis Diaz at around £75m as they prepare to make a decision on the Colombia international's future this summer, a report claims.
Diaz remains on the same terms he agreed when he first joined the club in 2022, despite enjoying an impressive first two years at Anfield.
While his existing deal will still have three years left to run in the summer, The Telegraph state that a decision will be made on Diaz's continuation at the club this summer, with both a new contract and a sale seen as possibilities at this point.
Like other clubs across Europe, Liverpool are increasingly aware of the need to sell players at the best times to raise as much money as possible to abide by financial rules, and Diaz is now approaching the last summer before he will be viewed as an expiring contract.
Liverpool currently value Diaz at £75m - a price tag that will only drop as the 27-year-old's existing contract winds down.
With a potential sale on the cards, both Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have expressed an interest in Diaz's services.
PSG see Diaz as a potential replacement for Real Madrid-bound Kylian Mbappe and would not struggle to meet Liverpool's demands, whereas cash-strapped Barcelona cannot afford to pay that sort of money for any player.
One intriguing sub-plot in this story is the fact that Diaz shares an agent with Sporting CP manager Ruben Amorim, who is among Liverpool's top targets to replace Jurgen Klopp at the end of the season.
Diaz's agent, Raul Costa, is understood to have visited the winger on Merseyside recently, although the purpose of his visit is unclear.
