Liverpool will make their first Carabao Cup outing of the season on Wednesday when they welcome Leicester City to Anfield.
The fixture list hasn't been kind to Liverpool, who are preparing for their fifth game in a month which also included an international break, and they still have another game against Tottenham Hotspur to come before they can tear the page off the calendar.
Before they can start thinking about pumpkin spice lattes and which fancy dress costume will generate more Instagram clicks, Jurgen Klopp's side must do battle with Leicester. The Foxes ended last season in turmoil but have hit the reset button and are flying high at the top of the Championship.
