Luis Enrique & Julian Nagelsmann ask Tottenham of structural plans
Luis Enrique and Julian Nagelsmann both had questions for Tottenham regarding the club's hierarchy during recent talks over the manager's job, 90min understands.
Spurs are on the hunt for a permanent successor to Antonio Conte, though poor form means they are already onto their second interim boss in a month, with Ryan Mason replacing Cristian Stellini in the dugout.
Managing director of football Fabio Paratici resigned from his post after having his global football ban upheld in mid-April to further pile on Tottenham's problems.
Paratici was initially in charge of the search for a new head coach even with his ban looming, with chairman Daniel Levy taking on the responsibility since his suspension and eventual departure last month.
90min has long reported that two of Spurs' primary targets have been Enrique and Nagelsmann, and both men have held talks with the club.
Sources have told 90min that during the interview process, they each asked questions about the state of the club's hierarchy. Spurs have recruited Scott Munn as their new chief football officer and will work between Levy and the director of football, though they are still looking for a replacement for Paratici in that regard.

Levy cannot yet provide definitive answers but it has been suggested the head coach will be able to have more of a say on recruitment. This didn't deter Enrique, though Nagelsmann is less suited to having such power, taking on more of a backseat role during his spells at Hoffenheim, RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich.
Tottenham are also considering other candidates for the role. They retain an interest in Feyenoord's Arne Slot, Bayer Leverkusen's Xabi Alonso, Burnley's Vincent Kompany and Sporting CP's Ruben Amorim, while former midfielder Michael Carrick - now of Middlesbrough - is also admired.
The big question mark over these managers is whether they could make the step up to the club with the lofty ambitions of Spurs.
Meanwhile, Brendan Rodgers and Graham Potter - out of work after being sacked by Leicester and Chelsea respectively - are being considered by Tottenham. Both were in the frame for the job in 2021 before it fell to Nuno Espirito Santo.
