Man Utd & Bayern Munich made aware of Marco Verratti availability amid Saudi Arabia talks
- Marco Verratti is expected to leave PSG this summer
- Move to Al Hilal broke down and he is now in talks with fellow Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli
- Man Utd and Bayern Munich among European clubs offered chance to sign midfielder
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti is hoping to finalise a move to Saudi Arabia this summer, though Manchester United and Bayern Munich have been offered the chance to make a late play for the Italian, sources have confirmed to 90min.
The 30-year-old has been looking to leave the French champions in-part due to the club's treatment of close friends Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
Al Hilal, who completed the signing of Neymar earlier this week, had agreed personal terms with Verratti last month, but a deal fell through as they were unwilling to meet PSG's €60m (£51m) asking price.
Though Al Hilal have withdrawn from the race, Saudi Pro League rivals Al Ahli - who are also owned by PIF - have stepped up their interest and believe they can reach an agreement with PSG.
However, Verratti could yet be offered another chance to extend his club career in Europe.
90min understands intermediaries working for the midfielder have informed teams across the continent of his availability, including Man Utd and Bayern Munich.

The Red Devils have been interested in bringing in Sofyan Amrabat to bolster their midfield options, with their lack of requisite depth on full display during their 1-0 win against Wolves and 2-0 defeat at Tottenham.
Bundesliga champions Bayern have also been linked with midfield reinforcements this transfer window, notably missing out on the signing of Declan Rice to Arsenal.
However, it's unlikely either Man Utd or Bayern would match any offer from Al Ahli or reach PSG's price tag and so Verratti is expected to head to the riches of Saudi Arabia instead.
Verratti will leave PSG just over 11 years after first joining the club from Pescara.
