Man Utd injury crisis worsens with another absentee confirmed for Arsenal game

Erik ten Hag has confirmed another injury to Manchester United's battered and bruised squad, with Mason Mount ruled out of Sunday's game against Arsenal.
Mount has struggled horribly with injuries since his move from Chelsea for an initial £55m last summer and has been restricted to just five Premier League starts in 14 appearances.
After nearly four months out with a calf problem, Mount played in six of United's last seven games, including a start in the 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace, but is now back on the sidelines with another issue.
"I have to report that unfortunately, yesterday, Mason Mount fell out [of contention]," Ten Hag told the media ahead of Sunday's clash with Arsenal. "So he will not be available for Sunday."
Left-back Luke Shaw has also suffered a minor setback and will not return before the end of the Premier League season, but Ten Hag stressed: "There is still a hope and he will fight to be available for the [FA Cup] final."
Bruno Fernandes has trained with the team and is expected to be available against Arsenal, as is fellow midfielder Scott McTominay, but Ten Hag revealed he had to turn down Lisandro Martinez's request to play against the Gunners just days after his return to training.
"Yesterday Licha came to me and he wanted to play on Sunday against Arsenal, but he is not ready yet," Ten Hag confirmed. "He needs a little bit more time to go through the process."
Marcus Rashford is expected to feature but still must prove his fitness before a final decision will be made.
"Rashy, of course, he trained this morning as well, and we have to see how he recovered from this," Ten Hag explained. "But I think it looks quite good and I hope he can tomorrow make the next training and then see if he is available for Sunday."
United remain without Harry Maguire, while Ten Hag offered no updates on fellow absentees Willy Kambwala, Victor Lindelof and Raphael Varane.
