Man Utd predicted lineup vs Everton - Premier League
Manchester United are at risk of losing touch with the Premier League top four if they don't collect maximum points against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday.
Ralf Rangnick's team were held to a 1-1 draw against Leicester last time out and have only won one of their last four Premier League games to slip to seventh place.
Facing an Everton side in dreadful form will at least provide an opportunity to return to form.
Here's a look at the starting XI the manager could pick...
1. Goalkeeper & defenders
David de Gea (GK) - Feels like he has been fighting a losing battle in recent weeks, with only two Premier League clean sheets in the last two months.
Diogo Dalot (RB) - Has regained the nod over Aaron Wan-Bissaka after a brief spell back on the bench a few weeks ago.
Harry Maguire (CB) - Question marks still remain but switching to the right centre-back role appeared to help him against Leicester.
Victor Lindelof (CB) - Raphael Varane has been added to United's injury absentees, so Lindelof should come into the starting XI.
Alex Telles (LB) - With Luke Shaw a potential doubt after featuring for only 45 minutes against Leicester, it is conceivable the Brazilian could fill in.
2. Midfielders
Fred (CM) - Got a goal against Leicester and generally seems to be playing against the tide of otherwise lethargic United performances.
Nemanja Matic (CM) - Scott McTominay has a foot problem, so there's be no 'McFred' partnership on display this weekend. Instead, Matic should come in as the deepest midfield.
Bruno Fernandes (AM) - The expected return of Cristiano Ronaldo in attack should allow United's creative spark to drop back to his normal position.
3. Forwards
Anthony Elanga (RW) - This place appears to be his to lose at the moment, with Marcus Rashford hopelessly out of favour for now.
Cristiano Ronaldo (ST) - Expected to return to the starting XI after illness sidelined him a week ago. United are desperate for his goals.
Jadon Sancho (LW) - One of the few in United colours that has been having a consistent output. Five goals involvements in his last seven league games.
