Manchester United find themselves in the midst of a storm again, so soon after a minor upturn in form suggested the worst of things may be behind Erik ten Hag's side.

The losses against Manchester City and Newcastle - more specifically the manner of them - have caused extreme panic and anger. They head away to Fulham on Saturday in the Premier League in desperate need of a victory as noise about Ten Hag's potential departure grows.

There are still plenty of injuries for the Dutch coach to deal with, with Casemiro added to the list on Wednesday night, but an important defender in the shape of Aaron Wan-Bissaka did manage to return from the sidelines.

Here's the team Ten Hag may pick to secure a key win for Man Utd against Fulham.

GK: Andre Onana - The Cameroonian is repairing his reputation game-by-game, even if the team as a whole is shipping goals, but it could all fall apart again very quickly.

RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka - Man Utd briefly looked dangerous at the start of the second half when Wan-Bissaka made his return from injury, though the pressure ended with Newcastle's third goal.

CB: Raphael Varane - There is a chance Varane won't make his return from illness but if he is healthy, he will start at Craven Cottage.

CB: Harry Maguire - The Englishman didn't exactly play well against Newcastle but it was another game without a major error and that's where the bar is for Man Utd's defence right now.

LB: Sergio Reguilon - Playing without a genuine left-back has been hurting Man Utd so Reguilon being fit again could help to turn things around.

CM: Scott McTominay - With Casemiro out, McTominay is expected to bring the height in the midfield and will be looking to cause issues in the opposition box.

CM: Christian Eriksen - Sofyan Amrabat could take this spot, but Eriksen did not feature against Newcastle so he could be used here against a lesser side to bring more creativity.

RW: Antony - He seems to have reclaimed the starting spot on the right wing but fans are growing very tired of Antony's ineffective performances.

AM: Bruno Fernandes - He will have hated being sat on the bench for much of the Newcastle game but Fernandes will come back into the fray at Craven Cottage.

LW: Marcus Rashford - This is a player who badly needs a goal and should he put in a big performance and find some form, Man Utd will quickly become a much better team.

ST: Rasmus Hojlund - He has done well since joining and is getting in all of the right positions, but that first Premier League goal needs to arrive soon before it becomes a big issue. Some may say it already is.
