Man Utd predicted lineup vs Omonia - Europa League
Manchester United are back in Europa League action this coming Thursday as Cypriot side Omonia visit Old Trafford in the reverse of last week's 3-2 win.
United had to come from behind in Nicosia a week ago and Erik ten Hag will expect more from his team this time around, although rotation will likely make it a fairly different XI.
Here's a look at how the United could set things up...
1. Man Utd XI (4-2-3-1)
GK: David de Gea - Martin Dubravka hasn't really been a viable alternative to the Spaniard so far this season.
RB: Diogo Dalot - Has made this spot his own this season, even without the fact that Aaron Wan-Bissaka remains unavailable.
CB: Victor Lindelof - No longer a Premier League starter but will get another chance to play in this competition.
CB: Lisandro Martinez - Harry Maguire remains sidelined so the new fan favourite probably gets the nod over Raphael Varane.
LB: Tyrell Malacia - Also considered by Ten Hag as potential cover at right-back, the Dutchman is likely to start ahead of Luke Shaw.
CM: Scott McTominay - Only featured off the bench at the weekend so probably starts just his second Europa League game of the season.
CM: Fred - Hasn't started in any competition since August, but resting Casemiro and Christian Eriksen gives him a chance here.
RM: Jadon Sancho - Has something to prove after going off the boil since his England snub. Won't get in the World Cup squad unless that changes.
AM: Bruno Fernandes - Has continued to start in both the Premier League and Europa League despite the demanding schedule.
LM: Anthony Elanga - With Marcus Rashford potentially only fit enough the bench and Antony deserving a rest, this makes sense.
ST: Cristiano Ronaldo - Three goal involvements in his last three games is decent form, but being reduced to a Europa League starter is probably exactly what he is desperate to avoid.
