Man Utd received late enquiries for Harry Maguire & Victor Lindelof
Manchester United were approached by Inter regarding possible loan deals for either Harry Maguire or Victor Lindelof on Monday, 90min understands.
The Nerazzurri are looking to sign cover at centre-back with talks set to continue with PSG over an immediate sale of Milan Skriniar prior to Tuesday's transfer deadline. The Slovakia international has already agreed terms over a summer move to Parc des Princes but could join them this month.
With that in mind, sources have told 90min that Inter asked United about the availabilities of Maguire and Lindelof just over 24 hours before the deadline.
However, the Red Devils insisted that they are not available right now despite neither player being a first-choice under Erik ten Hag.
Club captain Maguire has been usurped in the starting lineup by summer signing Lisandro Martinez this season, while Lindelof too has subsequently fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
