Manchester United's coaching staff are worried about their future prospects due to mounting pressure on manager Erik ten Hag, according to a report.
Ten Hag went some way to silencing his critics after turning round United's poor start to his debut 2022/23 season. The Dutchman led them to a third-place finish in the Premier League as well as victory in the Carabao Cup, ending the club's six-year wait for a trophy.
However, the Red Devils have not kicked on as was expected of them this season. They were eliminated at the group stage of the Champions League and currently sit sixth in the Premier League with a goal difference of zero, while they have also scored fewer goals than relegation-battling Luton Town.
Ten Hag is facing increasing scrutiny for these declining results and performances, particularly with new shareholders INEOS looking to make their mark on the club - they have already appointed Omar Berrada as their new CEO and are in talks with Newcastle over the acquisition of sporting director Dan Ashworth.
The Mail report Ten Hag's uncertain future has left his coaching staff 'in limbo', while doubts remain among the playing squad that the 54-year-old will stay without winning a trophy or securing another season of Champions League football.

Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Roberto De Zerbi and Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane have both been heavily linked with the United job since INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe's onboarding.
Even if United's new shareholders approve of Ten Hag and decide against sacking him, his coaching staff could still be shown the exit door as part of the club's long-term plans.
First-team coach Eric Ramsay recently left to take charge of Minnesota United, becoming the youngest manager in MLS history. Assistant managers Mitchell van der Gaag and Steve McClaren are under contract until 2025 but could be let go, while coach Benni McCarthy's deal is up this summer and he has been seeking out reassurances over fresh terms.
United must beat Liverpool in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Sunday if they are to keep their hopes of winning silverware this season alive.
