Man Utd Women contracts: When every player's current deal expires
Manchester United broke new ground in 2022/23 as they achieved a highest ever WSL finish, qualified for the Champions League for the first time and played in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
But with high profile player departures in Alessia Russo and Ona Batlle after failing to agree contracts with the star duo, attention is turning to a new future with a focus on increased depth as the club prepares to head into European competition.
In previous years the club made a habit of handing out contracts that included an optional extra year, although since the start of 2021/22 those kinds of deals have started to be phased out - instead United's growth and that of women's football in general is seeing contracts adapt.
A number of core players are tied down until at least 2025, but fans will sleep easier if a few more important names commit their future as well.
