After a record breaking 9-0 win over Southampton last time out, Manchester United are looking to carry that momentum into their home clash with Everton in the Premier League.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men showed no mercy against the Saints as they pummelled the nine men, and now the boss must make decisions on whether to go with the same team or to change it up slightly.

With United three points behind Manchester City having played a game more, a win is vital to staying in touch in the title race. Let's take a look at the team picked to start.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

David De Gea (GK) - The Spain international has seen off competition from Dean Henderson to maintain his number one status.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB) - A goal and an assist in the 9-0 win was accompanied by a goal-saving tackle at the other end of the pitch - arguably his best performance in a red shirt.

Victor Lindelof (CB) - Faced competition earlier in the year from a resurgent Eric Bailly but he continues to keep a high standard and with the Ivorian out injured.

Harry Maguire (CB) - The skipper has found some great form since the turn of the year and put in an excellent performance against Southampton.

Luke Shaw (LB) - Arguably the best left back in the country this season, Shaw grabbed two assists before being rested for the second 45 minutes in midweek.

2. Midfielders

Scott McTominay (CM) - The young Scot has been in good form in recent weeks and his mobility and energy will be a big help in midfield.

Paul Pogba (CM) - Despite sitting out the 9-0 win for some well earned rest, Pogba is back into this side and will be ready to help at both ends of the pitch.

Bruno Fernandes (AM) - After five league games without a goal or assist, Fernandes bounced back with two assists and a penalty to get back on track.

3. Forwards

Mason Greenwood (RW) - The youngster got 90 minutes under his belt against Southampton was excellent despite not getting on the scoresheet.

Marcus Rashford (LW) - 16 goals for the season, Rashford has been United's best attacker this year and looks the most likely to make something happen in the front three right now.

Edinson Cavani (ST) - There were doubts over whether the Uruguayan would be fit to start ahead of Anthony Martial, but he gets another chance from the off after beginning the trouncing of Southampton.
