Manchester United predicted lineup vs Brighton - Premier League
By Tom Gott
Manchester United will hope to repeat their success from the FA Cup semi-final and see off Brighton on Thursday.
The two sides are at 1-1 for the season, with that Wembley triumph cancelling out Brighton's 2-1 win at Old Trafford on the opening weekend of the season, and now Erik ten Hag has the chance to dish out a little more revenge.
Here's how the boss could set up for this one.
Man Utd predicted lineup vs Brighton (4-2-3-1)
GK: David de Gea - Whether he's Ten Hag's long-term goalkeeper or not, De Gea is the undisputed starter right now.
RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka - After expertly neutralising Kaoru Mitoma in the semi-final, Wan-Bissaka should get the chance to do so again.
CB: Victor Lindelof - Lindelof scored the winning penalty at Wembley and may have to be the hero once again to contain a Brighton attack who just put six past Wolves.
CB: Luke Shaw - Shaw appears to be above Harry Maguire in the pecking order at centre-back.
LB: Tyrell Malacia - And with Shaw playing inside, Malacia will get the nod on the left.
DM: Casemiro - Brighton are incredibly strong in midfield, so Casemiro will need all his experience to win this battle.
DM: Christian Eriksen - Eriksen played as a false nine when these two met earlier this season but Ten Hag has now figured out how to maximise the Dane in this deep role.
RM: Bruno Fernandes - The Portugal international has stepped things up in recent weeks and his high standards appear to be bringing the best out of those around him.
AM: Marcel Sabitzer - Having emerged as a regular starter under Ten Hag, Sabitzer may have earned himself a permanent move to United.
LM: Antony - After Jadon Sancho's underwhelming showing against Aston Villa, it may be over to Antony for this one.
ST: Marcus Rashford - Rashford managed just two goals in April which, by his electric standards, is a pretty poor month.
